Hops in Madison County
I am not sure how long this story will stay up but it is about the Hop and Heritage Tour in Madison County. Chris discovered it and while our respective schedule's precluded us from attending this year, I hope to be on that bus next September. It will likely yield insights into what hops to grow in CNY and how to best care for the plants and the hops.
BTW the image is of one of the hops from Thistle Ridge Farm this year. Kind of looks like how I see things after enjoying too many tasty libations...

I like that picture!
It can be interpreted as almost anything: a hairball from a bright green cat, something you find in your belly button, a caterpillar that ate too much, something Yola found out in the yard, almost anything!
Maybe even a Columbia Hop Cone?
hmm, yeah, I guess it is a good idea that I explained it first. I only saw it as a blurry hop.
