Learning something new
Today I went to purchase supplies for my next batch. I am on the fence, caught between a Belgian White and Bitter. Either way, I learned something new. I don't have the time in the next week to brew but thought since I was out in the direction of the store, I would pick up the grains, etc. Turns out you should brew with crushed grains within a week and since I want to do an all-grain batch, it is important to have them as fresh as possible. So I resisted temptation and will have to go back. Looks like I have more time to make the decision...
