Lilac Street Belgian White

Today I got together with the crew from work and brewed the second batch of Lilac Street beers. This recipe is a Belgian White, one that I brewed five years ago, that time as Chestnut Street Belgian White. I am hoping it turns out just as good, preferably better. The recipe is slightly different this time:
  • 1# flaked oats
  • 4# Muntons DME wheat
  • 2# Muntons DME light
  • 1.5 oz. Hallertau hops 3.7% AA (bittering)
  • .5 oz. Hallertau hops 3.7% AA (aromatic)
  • 1 oz. coriander
  • Wyeast Belgian Abbey liquid yeast #1214
  • 1 tsp irish moss
The batch currently looks like this:

In 6-7 weeks, it'll be tasting time. That takes us out to about Memorial Day.

This was also the first batch to get boiled in the new (to me) brew kettle.
